Harambe- Who killed him?

HARAMBE, the beautiful silverback gorilla. One of the 880 silverbacks in the world. Shot dead! Why? Many of you know about the fateful incident. For those who don’t, Harambe, turned 17 at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, he was a beautiful one. This CRITICALLY endangered species was shot dead by the zoo officials for two reasons:
1.   It was somebody else’s fault
2.   He acted like a Gorilla
It was a normal day for everyone. But that day a 4-year-old boy managed to get into his enclosure. Thanks to the 4 year old’smother’s carelessness! When the 4-year old fell in (a 10- to 12-foot drop), Harambe grabbed him, stood over him, and dragged him. Silverback gorillas have a reputation of being verycalm and gentle. He was in no way harming the kid. I am in no way here judging the situation. The situation was very spontaneous. When asked by the media about not using a tranquilizer, the zoo official said “Tranquilizers do not take effect for several minutes and the child was in imminent danger. On top of that, the impact from the dart could agitate the animal and cause the situation to get much worse.” Which was a possibility, no denying? A life was at stake and the zoo did what they thought was right. Harambe’s death is setting the internet on fire. Everyone is in search of justice for that bold and beautiful 450 pound. Whose fault was it? Was it the zoo authority’s fault for the lack of safety? Or is the mother’s fault for not watching over her kid?
Animal rights activists have created an online petition on Change.org to protest the death of Harambe.
The petition reads: “This heart breaking decision was made in the best interests of keeping the child and the public safe. This beautiful gorilla lost his life because the boy’s parents did not keep a closer watch on the child. We the undersigned believe that the child would not have been able to enter the enclosure under proper parental supervision…It is believed that the situation was caused by parental negligence and the zoo is not responsible for the child’s injuries and possible trauma. We the undersigned want the parents to be held accountable for the lack of supervision and negligence that caused Harambe to lose his life.”
If anyone wishes to sign the petition, which we recommend, here is the link to it: https://www.change.org/p/cincinnati-zoo-justice-for-harambe.

Rest in peace Harambe!

SUMMER TIPS FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS

Since the sun is at its zenith these days, we all are suffering from its wrath! No living being is spared. So neither will our pooches be able to escape. Here are some tips, to not just help them survive but also help them enjoy the season!

1. Events are composed in all the major areas, where you can take your pooches and let them circle,  swim, lay or basically have fun, in expansive zones. These occasions have the ideal timings that compliment summer. They are generally held out in early mornings like 7am to 9am. There are swimming pools and yummy treats for you and your furry baby.

2. Do not take them for strolls amid the peak hours of heat. The burning warmth and unforgiving sun can bring about more harm than you can envision.

    3. In this searing warmth, with temperatures rising up to 47 degrees Celsius, the walkways, yard, road, sand and different surfaces are excessively hot. They are smoldering as though on fire. Shield their foot from the  blazing sun by getting them  cool puppy shoes for them to display while they go on strolls amid early morning and late night, when the atmosphere outside is the coolest.

4. Always keep a dish of water and put a couple of ice cubes. We drink a lot of water to keep ourselves hydrated. Our pooches need the same drill for their bodies too. Include water, milk, and chilled chicken soup to their every day nourishment.

5. Watch for indications of dehydration. Pooches don't sweat. Try not to stress if your canine pants more than usual, it is the way they cool themselves. The more sizzling it is, the more they will do so. Search for these indications:
More of laziness
Decreased urination
Dry gums
May seem pale
Refusal to eat
Indented eyes, can be bloodshot also
On the off chance that you lift its skin, it will take longer than normal for the skin to become all normal again.

6.  Make sure to spray water on the paws and stomach, not just the top of the dog. Dogs in nature dig their dens not out of frustration, but to find food, hide or keep cool. Find a shady territory and let your pooch get messy.

7. While you are gone to the grocery or the bank, and keep your pooch sitting tight in the car for you, they are being subjected to suffering from heat stroke. The temperatures are rising and the car heats up in a split second. A closed car causes suffocation too. So, let the windows down a bit, such the  dog doesn’t go out, but the air inside has a circulation route.

8.Ticks, bugs, mosquitoes, flies and different creepy crawlies are at their top amidst the summer months. Use the right products to fight against tick collars, showers and shampoos.

9. If your puppy has long hair and is extremely ragged, ideally trim their hide. This will keep their body light. Never cut too close, as the coat shields pets from the cruel summer sun. You can do it yourself, or take your baby to be groomed!

10.  Let your canine check the climate. Our babies don’t have Weather Channel, so they don't know why they are being denied a long stroll for the day. Allow them to venture into the outside world and feel it for them self that it is excessively hot, making it impossible to go on a long walk. Instinctively, the dog will comprehend that it needs to abbreviate its walk or essentially return inside where it is protected.

For dogs, With love!!

'If only I had you, you would know how much I love you and how much I've longed to have you..!'

Hey little babies!
A little dog is a gentle heartbeat
I hear...resting at my feat

A little dog is a miracle with paws
Contrary to men, they're completely devoid of flaws!

A little dog is my companion for the day.
He'll always be there...come what may!

A little dog is a blessing in disguise
Carrying a thousand emotions in their eyes.

Hey little baby! I know you're waiting for me.

You'll be mine one day...and others shall just see!
